 Our Values
Citrus PAC is a unique organization, not just because we are the first progressive federal PAC run entirely by undergraduates in the country. We are unique because of the high caliber of talent, dedication, and character within each of our members. We wish to express the values that we look for in new members of our staff and the characteristics that define our team. We do so because we want those who interact with us to know what to expect and those who are considering joining us what we will expect of them.
 Commitment
Members of Citrus PAC are deeply committed to changing the world, and as Hillary Clinton has said, “Change comes from working hard.” We are determined to get students and others involved in the political process and pledge to set a strong example.
 Professionalism
We believe that the way we meet our goals is just as important as arriving at the final destination. As actors in the political process we pledge to uphold the highest ethical standards as individuals and make our operations transparent while respecting the privacy of contact information of those with whom we associate. In all of our events, activities, and other functions we aspire to excellence – to make the absolute most with what we have been given. We pay attention to detail and make sure nothing or no one is forgotten, misplaced, or left behind. We give our best in all that we do every single day.
 Diversity and Social Justice
No one in Citrus PAC shall be discriminated based on race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, national origin, citizenship, ethnicity, marital status, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, or veteran status. We believe the United States is “one nation with liberty and justice for all” – no exceptions, no excuses. We work hard to make that dream a reality within our organization and our country.
 Accountability and Feedback
As a progressive organization we always have our eyes set on the future. But we realize the importance of learning from the past. Regularly, we take stock of our organization to seek to find ways to improve the effectiveness of our operations so that we can better meet our goals. We do this by holding all our members accountable to displaying these values, performing their individual roles, and soliciting feedback from all members for ways to improve our operations and administration.
 Fun
It is important to step back, keep perspective, and not take ourselves too seriously. Making time to relax, rest, and get to know one another is important. We make every effort to “play while we work,” look out for each other, and keep a good sense of humor.
